Woke up this morning my mind is free
No thoughts, no intentions just plain serenity

So I could engage in my morning meditation

But before I could reply I got another call

This is Donnae, Did you hear Britney shave her head today
I sent you an email with all the pics
Also, look at the bottom there is a coupon for kicks
Hold on someone is at the door
It’s Saturday, the Jehovah Witness for sure

Wait a minute! I’m in control
I don’t have to be influenced by the outside world

Finally there is total peace
The noise and distraction has finally ceased
Time to engage in affirmations and denials
